How to Use Your Bio Ethanol Fireplace?
In just a few, simple steps, you can enjoy the warmth and beauty of a real fire. Here is how you use your bio ethanol fireplace.
- Fill the ethanol burner. Bio ethanol fuel is a liquid fuel that comes in bottles. You can easily fill the burner without the risk of spills or the burner overflowing. Make sure you use high-quality bio ethanol fuel for the best results. The Bio Flame fuel is available in most large hardware stores or can be purchased online from vendors such as Amazon.
- Light the fire. Once the burner is full, get your fire started by igniting it with a long lighter or match. Within minutes, you’ll be able to enjoy your fire!
- Extinguish the fire. To put out the fire, you can adjust or extinguish your flame with a lid or adjuster rod. After extinguishing your fire, you might notice a slight odor, comparable to when you blow out a candle.
- Refill and enjoy! When your ethanol burner is empty, just refill and light again.
Not only are ethanol fireplaces incredibly easy to use, but they are also maintenance-free. All you need to do is to give your fireplace an occasional wipe down to remove dust. It’s as simple as that!
How do I clean my Bio Flame ethanol fireplace or burner?
As the fuel does not produce any soot or smoke when burning, there is no cleaning needed! Simply use a damp cloth once in a while to wipe down the surface and remove and dust.

How long will my fireplace burn for?
The burners that the fireplace is equipped with differ in sizes, fuel capacities and burn times. Average burn times are 4 hours per liter of fuel.
