A typical installation takes two people approximately four to six hours. Installation can be performed by carpenters, masons, tile setters, general contractors and home owners, with the proper tools and some DIY skills.
Not all materials are provided, please refer to our manual to ensure you have everything to get started.

Everything You Need to Know
Are all your fireplaces made of real concrete?
Yes. All our products are made from high performance glass-fiber-reinforced concrete. We do not use a cast stone material or a styrofoam core.
How are the concrete fireplace surrounds coloured?
DreamCast mantels use both an intergrally mixed color that is made of crushed minerals, and a colored coating to ensure consistency and performance in high-heat environments.
Can I get samples of the finished product?

DreamCast mantels are designed to be installed in an afternoon. We have in-depth mantel installation page to help you understand the process better.
Does DreamCast offer installation services?
We offer installation services in our local area only. If you’d like a referral to a professional for your area just reach out to our team. We may have someone who has experience with a DreamCast mantel in our nationwide referral network.
Can your fireplace surround be installed outside?
Yes! DreamCast mantels are made of noncombustible high performance concrete that is also sealed. It can perform outdoors as well as indoors.
