Married to Real Estate
The BOWEN fireplace mantel is featured in this beautiful makeover on HGTV’s Married to Real Estate. In this episode, Egypt introduced the Bowen fireplace, anchoring it to the focal wooden wall to craft a versatile area that blends formal and casual elements, ideal for family gatherings and shared TV moments.
Customize your BOWEN
The Bowen Mantel fuses timeless classic curves and modern picture frame flair that makes choosing elegance a breeze. At 6″ the mantel has ample depth for functionality while keeping space efficiency. A contemporary fireplace design that complements any home style seamlessly.
Take your creativity a step further with the Bowen Mantel’s adaptability. Opt for a floating design by framing a linear fireplace, and enhance the aesthetics with DreamCast concrete panel wall cladding.
To meet clearance requirements or achieve a classic touch, consider adding a hearth. Redefine your space with the Bowen Mantel’s exceptional style and versatility.

COMPLETE YOUR SURROUND
Order With Confidence
We had such a great experience using Dreamcast to design our fireplace surround. This was our first time ordering a surround and so, we had many questions and details to work out. Catherine and her team were so helpful and our surround is definitely the centerpiece of our room!

WIDTH up to 76″ | HEIGHT up to 60″ | DEPTH 6″
WEIGHT APPX: 440 lb | 200 kg
INSTALLATION:
The Bowen Fireplace Surround is comprised of four main components: Two legs, a header and a mantel. These components are hollow to allow mounting blocks to be securely installed within for adhesive and physical attachment.
The surround can also include matching, one-inch thick concrete in-fill panels to cover the space between the surround and your fireplace opening. These are supplied over-sized and should be cut to fit by the installer.
Q: Are all your fireplaces made of real concrete?
Yes. All our products are made from strong, durable, glass-fiber-reinforced concrete. We do not use a cast stone material or Styrofoam core.
Q: How are the concrete fireplace surrounds coloured?
We use integral colours in our concrete mix, so the colour is embedded in the product. A colour-matched concrete stain is applied before the sealer coat to balance the tone and allow easier touch ups.
Q: Can I get samples of the finished product?
Of course! We will gladly provide you with a sample for your project. If you are a design professional we will provide a colour sample kit.
Q: How do I install the fireplace surround?
We recommend that our fireplace surrounds be installed by a professional contractor, but they are designed for easy installation. Check out our installation page for videos and instructions on how to install your DreamCast fireplace surround.
Q: Does DreamCast offer installation services?
We do perform installations of our fireplace surrounds and concrete panels in our local area. Architectural elements and custom products are typically installed by a suitable contractor.
Q: Can your fireplace surround be installed outside?
Our fireplace surrounds are finished and sealed for interior use. Please contact us if you need the product finished for an exterior installation.
Q: What is your typical lead time?
Lead time for our standard products is currently 5-6 weeks. Custom items are evaluated on a project-to-project basis.
Q: Do you ship?
Yes, we ship our products fully crated throughout North America.
Q: Do you have a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 1 year manufacturing warranty. Please click here to read it.
